Sixth Form students commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the end of WW1
Second-year students of English and first-year students of History jointly participated in an event to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the end of WW1. As a cross-curricular activity, the students of English presented WW1 from a more literary point of view, speaking specifically about the poems of Wilfred Owen, whilst the History students focused on factual information regarding the war. As a follow-up to this event, two sixth from students, Alisa Iordan and Mark Anthony Kuflewicz, delivered very interesting presentations on both history and WW1 poetry to the Level 11 students on the 22nd of November.
