Sixth Form students visit National Archives
Level 12 students studying History at Intermediate level, recently visited the National Archives in Rabat. Throughout the morning, the students worked on primary documents to help them deepen their knowledge of this type of source. The sources used related to British Malta, a period of Malta’s history that the students are currently covering in their studies. The visit also included the conservation laboratory where the students were introduced to the process of conservation of primary documents. They also had the opportunity to learn more about the medieval Santu Spirtu Hospital were the National Archives are housed.
