Saviour Pirotta, this year’s visiting author at St Martin’s College, held the students enthralled with amazing tales of his exploits as a student, his interest in ancient Greece and mythology and his encounters with many of the students’ favourite authors including Roald Dahl, David Walliams, Jacqueline Wilson and Michael Morpurgo to name but a few. He is seen in this picture signing copies of his books for SMC Library. He is an innate storyteller and his sense of adventure and love of mythology are reflected in his action-packed publications in the ‘Ancient Greek Mystery’ series.
