St Martin’s College was presented with a ‘Book Champion School 2019 – Gold Award’ certificate as well as book tokens in acknowledgment and recognition of the activities organised during the year to promote and create a holistic reading culture. The Literacy and Information Support Unit within the National Literacy Agency has organised these awards as part of a nationwide campaign to promote reading in schools.
