This year’s Level 11 ACCS film is a psychological thriller based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth. In this modern adaptation Macbeth finds himself entangled with shady events which awaken a dark desire within him. He is pursued by two detectives, who are working to put an end to the cult and the string of missing persons attached to it.

The idea was constructed based on input from the students who worked hard to deconstruct the original text and come up with a new approach to the play with their own twist. The focus of the project is to develop 21st century learning skills in learners, skills such as collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking.
