Autism Awareness Month
April is Autism Awareness Month…Let’s continue our efforts to spread awareness, promote acceptance, and ignite change.
A message from Ms Cynthia Rizzo and Ms Maria Ellul, CHS and SMC Inclusive Coordinators (INCO):
Autism is a lifelong, developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with and relates to other people, and how they experience the world around them. Their quality of life improves with professional assistance but also with the support of each and every one of us. The first phase is to be aware, understand and accept people with autism. Following this, one can also help with a smile and a helping hand.
