The outdoor learning experience at Girgenti Farm provided the Level 10 students with the opportunity to carry out a biology fieldwork session in a peaceful environment teeming with local flora and fauna.

The classes pitted their wit against each other as they debated the effects of social media on the communication skills of the young, further enhancing the discursive and formal writing skills covered in the Maltese and English lessons.

A quiz tested how knowledgeable students are about the world around them, with questions focusing on general knowledge or pop culture.

It was then time for students to let their hair down as they took part in water games organised by their PE teachers. What a wonderful opportunity to transpose and apply learning to tasks belonging to the outside world.
