Brussels Trip
A group of St Martin’s College Sixth Form students spent 6 days in Brussels, Bruges and Ghent between the 27th October and 1st November 2022.
They learnt about the EU institutions and of job opportunities within the EU.
They attended the opening ceremony of the Youth Forum which was held at the European Parliament where they were welcomed by the President of the European Parliament, Dr Roberta Metsola.
They also visited the Maltese and Slovene Translation Unit of ECOSOC and the Committee of Regions.
Students also engaged in team building activities including a scavenger hunt that led them to various parts of the town. The winning team were treated to a taste of Belgian waffles.
This was truly a memorable as well as enriching experience for all students.
