European Youth Event (EYE) 2023

St Martin’s College Sixth Form students, Celeste Tan Panza and Alex Rossi, attended the European Youth Event (EYE) 2023 which was held at the European Parliament in Strasbourg last week.

This event brought together thousands of young people from all over the European Union to share and shape their ideas on Europe’s future. It was a unique opportunity for our students to participate in engaging events, as well as interact and exchange their views and opinions with experts and decision-makers.

Celeste described her experience as particularly memorable. “It was especially interesting for me to meet Dr Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Parliament. I also enjoyed meeting other people from all over Europe and learning about their cultures and systems. The experience also helped me to understand the amount of opportunities available for young people all over the world,” said Celeste.
