Duke Of Edinburgh Award
We are pleased to announce that St Martin’s College is now a centre for the globally recognised Duke Of Edinburgh Award programme at ‘Bronze’ level for students aged 13 and over, offering the opportunity to show persistence, commitment, and personal development.
What do you need to do? Complete 4 ‘levels’ for six months minimum to take part in the programme at Bronze Level.
The levels include:
1.Transferable Skills development, such as cooking or first aid
2.Physical Recreation, such as breakdancing
3.Voluntary Service
4.An Adventurous Journey.
We will support students by integrating the training and award within school, supporting those who apply externally and by organising break sessions.
