Sixth Form Online Discussion
Level 12 and 13 students studying History at Advanced level at St Martin’s College Sixth Form, had the opportunity to have an online discussion with Adrian Szumski, who was born and raised in Poland. Mr Szumski shared with our learners some popular and his own personal experiences of Poland during the Martial Law lockdown of the early 1980s and the steps the country took towards 1989 to peacefully adopt a more democratic approach to politics. The Fall of Communism in Eastern Europe is part of the History Advanced syllabus.
