Chiswick House School and St Martin’s College celebrated Anti-Bullying Week this week, and here are a few of the highlights!
Chiswick House School engaged pupils with our tagline ‘Choose Respect’, hands-on SEL lessons, creating kindness trees, flags with positive messages, and even designing respectful superheroes. Role-play, circle time discussions, and assemblies reinforced empathy and understanding, introducing our Super Ted, teddy bear mascot.
St Martin’s College created engaging drama skits where anti-bullying and drama came together, an empowering dance to “This is Me” from The Greatest Showman and eye-opening talks by the Dignity Revolution on being upstanders, and an anti-Bullying assembly with Leanne from BeBrave discussing respect, tolerance and knowing when to be brave enough to stand up for what is right. The “I Want My Teacher to Know” box encouraged students to speak out, while PE classes highlighted respect in team sports.
The week concluded with Hair to Express, Dare to Impress—a wonderful celebration of individuality across both schools through unique hairstyles!
