Webinars for Parents: Millie Career Guidance Two webinars for parents were hosted by St Martin’s College Sixth Form in collaboration with Millie Careers Guidance agency. During the first webinar information was given about different university application processes and entry requirements The second webinar focused on scholarships, funding and summer programmes for pre-university students. Parents also had the opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions. Millie is an online agency offering support to careers advisers, students and parents with international university applications. St Martin’s College Sixth Form is a Millie Partner school.

Fake News and Misinformation Workshop

Fake News and Misinformation Workshop Our Level 7 students participated in a workshop organised and delivered by Professor Gorg Mallia and Ms Megan Mallia (St Martin's College Alumna) from the Department of Media and Communication, Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences. The workshop focused on misinformation often found in the media and aimed at creating awareness of verifying the authenticity of published information. Fake news and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) were other points of discussion during the workshop.

Rock The House 2024 We were thrilled to host our highly anticipated ROCK THE HOUSE event at St Martin’s College. Our talented performers captivated a cheering crowd of students. Our wonderful staff also performed a dance for the excited crowd, inspiring everyone to stand up, sing, and dance along! Well done to all students for attending and performing, and to our staff for their participation and organisation of yet another fantastic show. Level 5 Trip to Gozo

Level 5 Trip to Gozo Our Level 5 learners had an inspiring day trip to Gozo! They started their adventure at the visitor centre, where they learned more about the history of the Citadel and the island of Gozo. From there, they explored the intriguing former prison and strolled along the majestic historic bastions. They also admired Antonio Manuele's impressive artwork during their visit to the cathedral. The excitement continued with a delicious lunch at Ramla l-Ħamra. What a fabulous day of fun and learning in Gozo!

Level 12 Students Visit European Liason Office

Level 12 Students Studying English A'Level visit European Liason Office Our Level 12 students who are studying English at Advanced level visited the European Liason Office in Valletta to join the head of the European Parliament interpretation service, Agnieszka Walter - Drop, for a discussion about the role of languages in the EU institutions! The EU is proud to work in 24 languages, with all languages treated as equal. The European Parliament is the biggest multilingual parliament in the world, where Members of Parliament can take part and legislate in any of the official languages.
