A group of Level 8 students took part in an immersive educational trip to Spain, marking the second phase of a student exchange. Earlier in May, St Martin’s College had the pleasure of hosting students from the partner school in Spain
During the visit, our students attended a school in Alcañiz and followed a rich programme of academic and cultural activities. They had the valuable opportunity to use Spanish in real-life contexts and extend their learning beyond the classroom.
The trip also included a variety of enjoyable experiences such as water sports, a visit to PortAventura, and tasting traditional cuisine from the Aragón region.
Our students truly made the most of this opportunity. We are especially proud of their willingness to speak Spanish and fully immerse themselves in a new culture. As the saying goes, “To learn a new language is to have one more window from which to look at the world.”
We extend our thanks to our dedicated staff for organising and making this trip such a success.
