Level 6 and 7s win the Bronze Award: Matematikka Competition

A huge congratulations to our Level 6 and Level 7 students who secured the Bronze award in the national Matematikka competition.

This year, a group of Level 6 and Level 7 students embarked on an exciting journey by creating their own board games focused on essential mathematical concepts such as prime factorisation, number work, and BIDMAS.

They proudly showcased six unique games, all developed from scratch by our enthusiastic middle school students during their Maths Club sessions.

A special thank you to our wonderful mentors, Ms. Alexia and Mr. Nabil, for their invaluable guidance throughout this creative process. The Matematikka Award, organised annually by the Directorate for STEM and VET Programmes, encourages innovative projects that enhance maths learning in schools. We are immensely proud of our team.
