CHSMC is a unique school in so many ways. From the outside, Chiswick House School and St Martin’s College are big schools with over 800 students on each site. The school, however, is structured into five sections, each with its own team to ensure that every single child is known, cared for, and allowed every opportunity for growth. CHSMC is recognised throughout Malta and internationally not only for the standards of our care but also for our innovative approach to developing the curriculum.

At Chiswick House School, this is best shown by the creative curriculum which underpins learning from Early Years to Level 2, and outdoor experiential learning from Levels 3 to 5 which focuses on the development of skills as well as support academic development and growth. Programmes such as Maths Mastery and computational thinking enable our learners to have deeper cognitive engagement. Chiswick House School pupils play an active role in school life through student councils, school assemblies, sport and performing arts. Our mission is to empower young minds to be independent thinkers who understand that our world needs compassion, creativity, appreciation of diversity, and leadership. The transition to St Martin’s College is a well-managed and exciting event in the lives of our students. At St Martin’s College our Middle School students learn how to apply their knowledge through project-based learning. A unique and stimulating learning environment which is underpinned by social and emotional development enables every student to succeed. St Martin’s College is about holistic learning and the wide variety of educational experiences from performing on the stage to visiting our partner schools in Europe and Japan allows students to grow in confidence and strengthen their independence.

In the Senior School and Sixth Form, the focus naturally turns to ensuring that every student makes individual curriculum choices to guide them on their career journey. Our teaching and learning approach is based on developing thinking skills and providing support from our hugely qualified and experienced team of educators. A rich extra-curricular experience allows opportunities for development across the creative arts, sports, technology, sustainability events, debating and workshops with university lecturers to ensure stretch and challenge across the curriculum.
