Building on the success of our previous initiatives, Chiswick House School hosted a pre-loved uniform sale in October, promoting sustainable fashion and reducing textile waste.
Did you know? In 2022, as part of European Week for Waste Reduction, we successfully prevented 99kg of carbon emissions and saved 310,650 liters of water—equivalent to the resources needed for the production of 31kg of new clothes—through our efforts in our pre-loved uniform sale.
This year, we are pleased to broaden our sustainability efforts by also focusing on food waste, in line with the European Week for Waste Reduction’s theme, “Food Waste is Out of Taste.”
