Alexia Dimech

Alexia Dimech attended St Martin’s College Sixth Form from 2020 to 2022, where she studied Marketing and Sociology at A Level, alongside English, Biology and Psychology at Intermediate level. These subjects sparked her interest in understanding how people think and behave, both from a business and social perspective, as well as how communication shapes ideas and communities.

After Sixth Form, she continued her studies at St Martin’s Institute of Higher Education, pursuing a degree in International Business, which felt like a natural continuation of the subjects she enjoyed most.

Having already attended Chiswick House School for primary school and St Martin’s College for secondary school, Alexia found the Sixth Form to be a familiar and supportive environment. The small class sizes allowed for individual attention, helping her grow in confidence. This sense of continuity gave her the space to focus on her goals, as the college had always felt like home.

During her time at Sixth Form, Alexia developed key skills such as discipline, open-mindedness and effective communication, which have remained valuable in both academic and professional settings. The encouragement she received also taught her the importance of believing in herself and staying focused on long-term goals.

Looking back, Alexia says the friendships and memories she made are what stand out most. The warm, welcoming atmosphere created a close-knit community, and many of the friendships she formed during that time remain strong today.

Here’s what Alexia said about her experience at St Martin’s College Sixth Form:

“St Martin’s College wasn’t just a school, it was a place where I felt supported, and inspired every step of the way.”

Alexia, your accomplishments are truly inspiring! Wishing you all the best for the future.
