Gianluca Agius graduated from St Martin’s College Sixth Form in 2017. He initially studied Maths and Physics at Advanced level but decided to switch to Marketing and Geography at Advanced level, alongside English and Philosophy at Intermediate level.
Although Gianluca joined St Martin’s College with the aim of exploring a career in aviation and engineering, he later explored a different route and discovered a passion for auto detailing. He began working on family cars and soon established his own Detailing business.
Over time, Gianluca expanded his business, worked on his childhood dream cars, and graduated with a BSc in Earth Systems. He wrote his thesis on his line of work, which was a first of its kind and an achievement that combined his academic and entrepreneurial interests.
The success of his business also enabled him to eventually return to his goal of aviation, and with support from his parents, Gianluca is now pursuing his commercial pilot’s license. He currently holds a Private Pilot’s License and is on track to achieve his goal.
Reflecting on his journey, Gianluca credits his St Martin’s College teachers for helping him to believe in himself and is grateful for the foundation built during those years.
