Two incredible projects from St Martin’s College earned top recognition in the Superheroes in Science STEAM competition!
“Finding the Cure and How to Make It” by Amy Zhang and Sara Babic (Level
takes us into the imaginative world of Doctor Comic, inspired by the work of Robert Hooke. In their comic, the hero races to develop a cure using echinacea flowers to stop the villain Jeffrey III and his poisonous ivy.
Meanwhile, “Emotional Awareness – Seeing the Void” by Hannah Bezzina and Ines Spiteri (Level
introduces Void, a synthezoid who can detect and interpret human emotions through biometric signals and AI. Their thoughtful project explores emotional intelligence, wearable technology, and the science of hormones with originality and insight.
These projects reflect the power of STEAM to blend creativity with scientific understanding. Congratulations to all four students for their outstanding work!
